It’s Philadelphia Pen Show weekend! Pictures are already starting to fly across Instagram, and it looks like it’s going to be a great weekend. I won’t be in attendance, so I’ll be living vicariously through the pictures. Gotta start saving my pennies for Baltimore! Now, on to the links.

This TEDx talk of master penman Jake Weidmann resurfaced recently, and it’s definitely worth a watch. Even for someone who doesn’t need to be convinced of the value of handwriting, there are some fun tidbits in there.

Introducing the Year of Advent: 52 Weeks of Trial and Error - Inkpothesis
And here I thought I was done with “end of year” posts. Jaclyn at Inkpothesis put out a great review of her year, and some of her goals for next year, and accompanied it with some fantastic photography. Check it out.
